The LAKA Project explores how silence, power, and civic responsibility shape the moment we are living in.
About the LAKA Project
The LAKA Project explores the consequences of Lakaspinatosis — the paralysis
of principle and conscience in the face of power.
If you arrived here through the Swipatosis video, this is the broader project it belongs to.
While the LAKA project focuses on democracy and accountability, Swipatosis takes a lighter, more
observational look at how everyday behavior is changing. Once recognized, you begin to see
it everywhere, even in yourself. In fact, there’s a good chance you’re doing it right now.
Like the LAKA condition, it becomes visible only after you learn to see it.
Many of us sense something has shifted — in ourselves, in each other, and in our country.
Crossroads explores these moments of recognition, and what becomes possible
once we begin to see clearly again.

Our LAKA videos explore the forces shaping this moment in our country — through observation, story, and perspective. They bring clarity — and occasionally a chuckle — to what many
of us sense but rarely see addressed clearly. Perspective from TCL — our Canadian
neighbor — adds context, clarity, and a touch of dry humor as the story unfolds.
LAKA News
LAKA News highlights real-world moments where silence, power, and accountability intersect.
Through short reads and plain language, the section brings clarity — and just enough
subtle humor — to events unfolding in plain sight.

Awareness is the first step. Action becomes possible when you choose to participate.
Start the Conversation with Family & Friends.
Constructive conversation often begins by focusing on shared concerns rather than personalities
or parties. This approach can help create understanding, even when perspectives differ.
Engage with Your Representatives
“Get Involved” also provides simple tools to help you register to vote, identify your elected representatives, understandwho speaks for your community, and contact them when something matters to you.
